About Raga
D’silva
Founder & Director
Principal, Raga D’silva, was born in India, and
is raising a family in New Zealand. Raga has a love
and passion for her dual Indian and Kiwi roots –
you could say she’s a proud ‘Kiwindian’!
Equally at home in India and New Zealand, she is passionately
committed to helping New Zealand businesses add India
to their Boardroom plans!
Raga has extensive experience in integrated marketing:
strategy development and planning, brand communications,
interactive media, direct marketing, events and promotions,
and public relations.
Her senior management experience within India included
Vice President and Branch Manager of Lintas:Direct (now
Lowe Lintas) Mumbai
(ppt download), which she
retained until moving to New Zealand in 2001.
Her New Zealand experience includes working in various
senior management roles across marketing, advertising,
and not-for-profit sectors.
Her creative, innovative, and out-of-box thinking continues
to influence many businesses (including Hong Kong, Singapore,
China) grow successful brands and products.
When Raga is not working, she’s actively involved
with her family, including her twin children.
About Nicola
Fenton
Director –International
operations
A blend of operational savvy and strategic thinking
enables Nicola Fenton to identify the strategic opportunities,
build customer confidence, and help them operationalise
their ideas.
Born in New Zealand, Nicola is an experienced senior
manager with a proven track record in navigating and
succeeding in demanding environments. With expertise
in hospitality, Nicola gained her reputation managing
large events in the UK, including at a senior management
level.
Combined with her significant experience, in the complex
government environment, Nicola can deal effectively
at senior levels of government, business and the community.
Nicola is solution focused, thrives on leading change,
and is always focused on anticipating customer needs
and improving the underlying performance of the business.
A keen traveler, Nicola has travelled extensively throughout
India, Europe, South East Asia, and Australasia. She
has a special interest in India, its people and culture.
Nicola brings her specialised experience to Global
Village Unlimited and her very passionate interest in
India makes her the ideal business partner.
